New Works Festival!

Want to write a play? Homebrew Theatre Company is looking for local writers! Homebrew Theatre Company is looking for submissions for their first ever new works festival!  Homebrew Theatre Company values the imaginative minds of Southeast Louisiana! This is not a competition, there is no grand prize or winner. Our purpose is to share our experiences and creativity with those in our community by hearing and telling stories.

Guidelines

1. Must be 10 to 30 minutes in length (typically one written page equals one minute on stage)

2. Six character maximum. 

3. Follow standard play format. For an example of proper formatting, click the link below.

4. Each piece selected will be assigned a director.

5. Homebrew Theatre company will cast the piece with the playwright.

6. Scripts are due by October 31, 2022 at 11:59 PM CT. Live readings will be held in mid-November.
